DODA: Masood Bhadarwah defeated Everest Bhalessa by one wicket and sailed into the semifinal of the ongoing All India 11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2015, organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda at Sports Stadium, here on Sunday.
Batting first, Everest Bhalessa set a target of 156 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. Yasir Rather was the top scorer with 42 runs while Farooq contributed 37 runs. For Masood Bhadarwah, Burhan Ganai, Khalid and Abid Mushtaq shared two wickets each.
In reply, Masood Bhadarwah chased the target in 19.4 overs for the loss of nine wickets. Mohsin Najar played a inning of 49 runs while Shafqat and Khalid contributed 24 and 20 runs respectively. For Everest Bhalessa, Mubarak clinched four wickets while Saleem took three.
Khalid of Masood Bhadarwah was declared as Man of the Match for his best all round performance.
The match was officiated by Ayush Sharma and Munish Zutshi as Umpires whereas Waseem Raja acted as Scorer.
