Srinagar: Separatist leader Masarat Alam had received 50 calls from Pakistan shortly after he was
released from jail on March 7, according to a news report on Saturday.
The calls were reportedly made by Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants who want to create unrest in the Valley, according to a national television channel.
The Mufti Mohammad Sayeed-led Jammu and Kashmir government and Centre have been informed about the recent developments by the security agencies.
The presence of 45-year-old Hurriyat leader was recently seen in a rally held by separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani in Kashmir Valley where Pakistani flags were raised.
He was later detained and then arrested under the public Safety Act and faces jail term for at least two years
