Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament Majeen Sidhra Stars, Sidhra Scorpions thrash opponents

BAJALTA: Majeen Sidhra Stars on Saturday registered a convincing win over Pargalta Friends, while Sidhra Scorpions beat Royal Game Changers Toll Post Nagrota in the Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament, an initiative of MLA Devender Singh Rana.
Winning the toss at Bajalta playfield in the Nagrota Assembly Constituency, Majeen Sidhra Stars decided to bat first and scored 123 runs for the loss of four wickets in 14 overs. Chasing the target, Pargalta Friends managed to score only 112 runs, losing all wickets. Majeen Sidhra Stars won the match by 11 runs. Surinder for his 51 runs inning was declared Man of the Match.
In another match, Sidhra Scorpions defeated Royal Game Changers Toll Post Nagrota by seven wickets.
Winning the toss, Royal Game Changers decided to bat first and manage to score 110 runs in 14 overs, losing nine wickets. In reply, Sidhra Scorpions chased the target comfortably in 10 overs losing only three wickets. Ahrar was declared Man of the Match for his splendid hat-trick.
The matches were officiated by Madan Mohan and Suresh Singh from J and K Youth Services and Sports.
The matches were played under the overall supervision of Faheem Tak, Vice President Take-1 Channel and Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Member Organising Committee.
