JAMMU: Former Minister and General Secretary PCC, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma expressed serious concern over BJP-PDP’s move to befool all the sections of people by hatching conspiracies one after another immediately after the formation of Coalition Government thus depriving people from earning their livelihood besides denying them their civil rights.
“After framing anti-people employment policy, the termination of thousands of Anganwadi workers is the second big jolt to the people of J and K. Instead of providing them with new opportunities of Rozgar, the present BJP-PDP Government has been engaged in taking away all the avenues provided by the previous Government to the downtrodden people of the State,” he added.
Sharma strongly condemned the decision of the government to disengage thousands of Anganwadi workers working for the last ten years with the Social Welfare Department.
He demanded immediate withdrawal of termination order of ICDS workers isued by Mission Director ICDS.
Sharma extended full support to the Anganwadi workers and helpers and asked them to remain united and fight for the cause.
