UDHAMPUR: Expressing displeasure over the behaviour of the elected representative, ex-MLA and NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia claimed that development activities in Udhampur Constituency have put on halt due to callous approach of the coalition government. He blamed that due to wrong policies and lethargic behavior of the elected leadership, Udhampur Constituency is witnessing dark era in development front.
NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia on Friday toured the Chanoor and Sorp villages of Udhampur constituency and listened to the grievances of the people.
While addressing the gathering, former MLA and NPP president Balwant Singh Mankotia claimed that during his tenure, he has planned road upto Upper Sorp for better road connectivity for the convenience of people. Unfortunately, the work on the said road was stopped due to callous and lethargic approach of the newly elected leadership of Udhampur.
Hans Raj, former Sarpanch of Mansar and senior NPP leader Karnail Singh also spoke on the occasion.
