VIJAYPUR: Former Minister and Congress General Secretary, Manjit Singh on Sunday paid homage to Naib Subedar Ram Singh of Indian Army who sacrificed his life in Manipur.
Manjit Singh visited the bereaved family members and expressed sympathy with them.
He remembered supreme sacrifice made by Naib Subedar Ram Singh and prayed for the peace of the departed soul. Singh said, “We will not forget the sacrifice of the soldiers who laid down their lives for the cause of nation.”
“Vijaypur is known with the name of these brave soldiers who have fought bravely against the enemies of the country,” he added.
