POONCH: Manjeet Club and LOC Jhalian won their respective matches to move into the next round of the volleyball tournament, organised by 93 Infantry Brigade of the Army under Operation Sadbhavna at Sports Stadium, here on Wednesday.
Earlier, Manjeet Club defeated Boys Higher Secondary School Poonch 2-1 (25-20, 18-25, 25-23) while LOC Jhalian outplayed Shapur Club 2-1 (25-19, 23-25, 25-18).
Meanwhile, in girls match, District Coaching Centre Poonch registered straight sets (25-19, 25-17) win against Power House Volleyball Club.
Today’s matches were conducted by the technical panel including Neeraj Sharma, Vijay Kumar, R.S Toofan, Ranjinder Singh, Sourab Sharma, Ram Prakash and Mubashar Ali.
