JAMMU: Member Parliament Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas and Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation, Dr. Manmohan Singh handed over the keys to seven beneficiaries of Individual House Hold Latrine Units (IHHL) at a function held here at Paloura Mohalla Khajurian Ward No 59. The IHHLs were constructed by Jammu Municipal Corporation under Swachh Bharat Mission.
Manhas appealed to people for cooperating with Jammu Municipal Corporation to make the Jammu city clean and green. He also stressed for proper utilisation of electricity and water.
Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation highlighted the work being done by the corporation under Swachh Bharat Mission.
Joint Commissioner (A), JMC, R.S Jamwal, Neeraj Gupta Chief Accounts Officer (Nodal Officer SBM), Ranjit Singh, Secretary, Koushal Chand, Joint Commissioner (W), Dr. Anita Salgotra, Health Officer, Parmodh Sharma Executive Engineer JMC, Kuldeep Magotra, Ashok Singh, Joginder Singh, Bahadur Singh, Shrey Sethi, Balbir Singh, Vaneet Singh, Sunny Jamwal, Anil Kumar, Vikram and Rishi were also present.
