POONCH: Mangit Filling Station and Daredevils Bhainch registered wins in the ongoing Chaar Sahibzaade T20 Cricket Tournament, organized by Sikh Youth of Poonch The on the theme “Khello India” at Sports Stadium Poonch, here on Saturday.
In first match of the day, Mangit Filling Station outplayed BCC Surankote by 72 runs.
Batting first, Mangit Filling Station scored 134 ruin sfor the loss of seven wickets. Rinku played a fine inning of 41 runs off 29 balls while Gagan scored 26 runs off 26 balls.
For BCC Surankote, Waheed Malik grabbed three wickets for 29 runs while Kafeel also claimed three wickets for 14 runs.
In reply, BCC Surankote was bundled out for only 62 runs. Shahid was the top scorer with 15 runs off 18 balls.
Gagan scalped three wickets for 19 runs and Jagvinder took one wicket for 4 runs for Mangit Filling Station.
For his brilliant all-round performance, Gagan was declared the Player of the Match.
In another match, Daredevils Bhainch trounced PP Tiger Loran by
PP Tiger Loran, batting first, made only 57 runs for the loss of ten wickets. Sajad Malik was the top scorer with 10 runs off 9 balls. Rashid Ali, Mustafa, and Farzand Ali took two wickets each for Daredevils Bhainch.
In reply, Daredevils effortlessly achieved the traget making 58 runs in just 5.5 overs losing only one wicket in the process. Munna played a match winning inning of 30 runs off 20 balls and was declared as the Man of the Match.
