UDHAMPUR: A middle aged person did an abortive bid to commit suicide by consuming poisonous substance in his house near Bambra School in Udhampur.
According to a report, 36 years Prem Chandu son of Charnu Ram resident of village Ghariya in Tehsil Chenani, Udhampur took some poisonous substances in his house to end his life. On seeing victim lying unconscious, his family members shifted him to Sub District Hospital Chenani and from where he was further referred to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him brought dead. Police handed over the body to his family members after conducting autopsy and registered a case for investigation.
