RAJOURI: Police on Monday arrested a man who murdered his brother over a minor issue at Rajouri District.
As per the details, on 14th January, an information was received through daughter of Subash Chander that on 13th January 2017 at about 9:00 PM her father and real paternal uncle entered into quarrel over some minor issue (tractor for ploughing land) and subsequently uncle hit her father due to which he sustained injuries.
Thereafter injured was shifted to District Hospital Rajouri where from after first aid he returned back to home but on 14th January 2017 he was again brought to District Hospital Rajouri from where the doctor referred him to GMCH Jammu. In this regard a case vide FIR No. 17/2017 under section 341/323/307 RPC was registered at Police Station Rajouri. Investigation of the said case started and the alleged accused person immediately after commission of the offence fled away from the spot.
On 16th January 2017, the injured person succumbed to injuries at GMCH Jammu. Keeping in view the sensitivity of the case, In-Charge Police Post Chingus SI Fareed Ahmed under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqrs. Rajouri Hamid Choudhary on the direction of SSP Rajouri Mohd Suleman Choudhary, launched a manhunt to nab the accused namely Kaka Ram son of Thakur Dass who was arrested on Monday by the special team.
