AKHNOOR : A man identified as Kamal son of Babu Ram resident of Balwal jumped into river Chenab from the new bridge, Akhnoor on Saturday.
Since he was noticed jumping into the river, the divers reached to his rescue and took him out of the river bear Brutta Mandir, Akhnoor and was shifted to Sub District Hospital Akhnoor. In spite of the best efforts by the doctors he died.
