REASI: Police on Tuesday arrested a man for illicit distillation and recovered three litres Desi liquor and 500 litres Lahan from his house.
According to a report, a specific information was received at Police Station Ransoo that person namely Rashpal Singh son of Munshi Singh resident of Dehote Ransoo Tehsil Pouni district Reasi indulging in manufacturing of illicit liquor. On this information, a police party led by SI Jasvinder Chaoudhary SHO Police Station Ransoo under the supervision of Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman, Dy.SP Hqrs. Reasi rushed to the spot and conducted raid in the house of Rashpal Singh and seized three litres Desi liquor and 500 litres Lahan alongwith all material for preparation of illegal Desi liquor from the his possession. The recovered Lahan was destroyed on spot. The accused person was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 01/2017 under section 48-(e) Excise Act was registered at Police Station Ransoo
