JAMMU: Police on Sunday arrested one person and recovered seven grams of heroin from his possession.
According to reports, police laid a Naka at Shastri
Nagar Cremation Ground and intercepted one pedestrian roaming around suspiciously. During checking, seven grams of heroin
was recovered on his
possession.
Police arrested a pedestrian and seized the contraband. A case under the NDPS Act was registered against the accused and a probe was launched in this regard.
The operation was conducted by I/C PP Digiana SI Pawan Dogra under the supervision Inspector Bishnesh Kumar SHO P/S Gandhi Nagar and SDPO Gandhi Nagar Mohammad Rafiq Manhas and SP South City, Jammu, Sandeep Choudhary.
