KATHUA: Police on Wednesday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 3 grams heroin from his possession.
According to a report, a police party of Police Station Kathua headed by Inspector Sarabjeet Singh, SHO Police Station Kathua acting upon a specific information, laid a Naka at Berian Pattan and intercepted one person namely Rashid Chopra alias Gallu son of Ibrahim Chopra resident of W.No 10 Kathua who was on way from Punjab towards Kathua via Ravi River and during his personal search 3 grams heroin was recovered from his possession. Accused person was arrested on spot and a case vide FIR No.103/2017 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Kathua.
