KATRA: Railway police on Monday arrested a person and recovered 21 packets of Ganja from his possession at Katra Railway Station.
According to a report, GRP and RPF officials noticed a person who was trying to escape from the police personnel at Railway Station Katra. On this, they intercepted the said person and conducted his frisking and found 21 packets of Ganja from his possession.
The said person was handed over to Police Station GRP Katra and was identified as Suraj son of Indru resident of Aghar Jeeto (Katra). The arrest was made under the close supervision of SDPO Railways Katra and Ranjit Singh Sambyal, SSP Railways Katra. A case vide FIR No. 3/2017 under section 8/20 NDPS Act, was registered at Police Station GRP Katra.
