SRINAGAR: Police has arrested a drug peddler and recovered poppy straw from his possession in Qazigund last evening. On a tip off, a police party of Police Station Qazigund during Naka checking at Jawahar Tunnel apprehended a man identified as Naraish Kumar son of Sham Lal resident of Sunder Bani Rajouri. On his checking police recovered one and half kilograms of poppy straw. A case has been registered in Police Station Qazigund and further investigation has been taken up.
