AKHNOOR: An unidentified man was found murdered in the forest area near village Chanjwan Devipur here on Sunday.
According to a report, locals informed Akhnoor police that a body was lying in the forest area near village Chanjwan Devipur, situated around 10 km from Akhnoor. On receiving the information, police recovered the body (approximately 35/38 years of age) with multiple injuries inflicted on head, face and arms. A Toka was also recovered from the nearby Nallah. Later, the police shifted the body to Sub District Hospital Akhnoor for autopsy and started investigations.
