POONCH : The Poonch Police on Wednesday arrested a man with cash amounting Rs 6.80 lakh at a naka at Kanuiyan.
A police team headed by SHO Rakesh Aqram under the supervision of SSP Poonch J.S Johar on the basis of a specific input, laid the Naka at Kanuiyan and apprehended one Manir Hussain son of Talib Hussain resident of Poonch, working with a whole sale karyana merchant while travelling in a passenger vehicle. During search the police recovered a cash amounting to of Rs 6.80 lakh from his possession which he was concealing in a bag.
The police have seized the cash and arrested the accused for further investigation.
