JAMMU: Malik Cricket Club and Surankote-XI won the respective league matches of Police Martyrs T20 Cricket Tournament being organised by District Police Poonch under Civic Action Programmes at Degree College Ground, here on Wednesday.
In the first match, Malik Cricket Club outplayed Power House Cricket Club by 14 runs.
Malik Cricket Club won the toss, elected to bat first and set a target of 120 runs in 20 overs, while chasing the target Power House Cricket Club managed to score 106 runs thus lost the match by 14 runs.
In another match, Surankote-XI registered a comfortable 47-run win over Mankote Cricket Club.
Mankote Cricket club won the toss and elected to ball first. Surankote-XI, bating first, scored 133 runs which in reply Mankote Cricket Club could not chase and scored 86 runs.
