SRINAGAR: Chairman Legislative Council, Amrit Malhotra has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of many people in the flash floods which have swept the state currently.
Extending sympathies with bereaved families, Malhotra said that he personally shares the grief of the affected families. He said all out efforts are being made by the government to save the lives and the property of the people, particularly in those areas which have affected badly.
He directed Divisional administration of both the divisions to monitor the situation and extend every possible help to flood affected families.
