Make public names of corrupt BJP ministers: JKNPP

JAMMU: JKNPP State President, Balwant Singh Mankotia came down heavily on the State Government for concealing the names of the corrupt BJP ministers involved in corruption as reported by a section of press. Addressing press conference here at party Headquarters on Wednesday, Mankotia disclosed that BJP after coming to power both at the Centre and in the State vowed to fight and weed out corruption but all their tall promises had turned into rhetoric and fallen flat with the media reports pertaining to the involvement of BJP ministers in the shocking incidents of corruption. He said that the entire Jammu was rocked when the demonetized cash running into crores of rupees allegedly belonging to a BJP minister was noticed by the police. He said that it was unfortunate that the case was being hushed up by the sinister BJP-PDP coalition during the period when the whole nation was undergoing demonetization drive to check the corruption and end the regime of black money.
Mankotia while taking a dig at the BJP, referred to the another report leveling serious allegations of corruption in a deal worth several crores of rupees involving a BJP minister and a MLC of the party in an attempt to safeguard the latter’s real estate business. He exhorted the State Government to immediately disclose the names of these tainted ministers and demanded sacking of the guilty incumbents. He said that BJP had betrayed the aspirations of the people of Jammu Pradesh and it was only involved in running transfer industry besides corruption, nepotism, loot and plunder. Mankotia cautioned the State Government to take the necessary action against the culprits otherwise JKNPP shall launch a full throttle agitation against the BJP to expose its vices and wrongdoings.
