SRINAGAR: Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah impressed upon G. B. Pant Hospital management to take all efforts of making the health institution fully functional. He said focus should be concentrated on restoration of health services in all hospitals in the Valley.
Chief Minister after attending official work at Civil Secretariat, Srinagar on Wednesday visited Lal Ded, SMHS and G.B Pant hospitals to take appraisal of the restoration of functioning in this hospital.
The damage caused to health infrastructure has to be restored on war footing, Omar Abdullah said adding that this gigantic task should be performed in a coordinated manner as a mission.
Later, The Chief Minister also inspected dewatering operations of some inundated areas in Srinagar.
