Many great heroes have been born in the land of India. Today i.e. 23rd September is the birth anniversary of one such great hero, Maharaja Hari Singh, who gave a new direction to the entire country including the state of Jammu and Kashmir with his visionary thinking. Due to which today the state of Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India. Hari Singh, the last king of Jammu and Kashmir heritage, was born on September 23, 1895 in Jammu. On the basis of his bravery and intelligence, Hari Singh was appointed the Chief Commander of Jammu and Kashmir politics in just 20 years. After the death of Maharaja Pratap Singh, he was crowned as the king of Jammu and Kashmir State in 1925. When he died on 26 April 1961 in Mumbai, Karan Singh was abroad and Maharaja Hari Singh was cremated in his absence.
