MAHAKUMBHNAGAR: After reviewing the preparations before Mauni Amavasya on his visit to Prayagraj on Sunday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that a large number of devotees are coming to Maha Kumbh from the country and the world.
Maha Kumbh has only one message, this country will remain united only with unity. We are all joining with the message of unity and integrity.
CM Yogi said that the Maha Kumbh, for which Prayagraj is known, is being organized with full grandeur. Everyone is working with full commitment to implement the vision given by the Prime Minister for Maha Kumbh at the local level. For this, I would like to thank all of you that you have worked to take the image of Prayagraj forward in a positive way. The main baths of Paush Purnima and Makar Sankranti have been completed and now two big Mahasnans are to be held on Mauni Amavasya 29 January and Basant Panchami 3 February, which are also the beauty of this Maha Kumbh. More than 7 thousand organizations have come here so far.
He also said that If we look at the total number of people bathing on the banks of Sangam since morning and the Kalpvasis living here as well as people associated with other organizations, then more than one crore people are present here.
CM Yogi said that the Chief Secretary, DGP and other senior officials of the state government were sent here to look into all these issues. Keeping in mind the Mahasnan of 29 January and 3 February, the entire arrangement has been observed. I am confident that with the blessings of Lord Prayagraj and Mother Ganga, we will be able to complete both these baths here safely. He said that the program of the Prime Minister, President, Vice President and Home Minister is also proposed in the Maha Kumbh.
Former President Ram Nath Kovind is currently associated with the organization of Maha Kumbh. Governors and Chief Ministers of various states are continuously coming here. Public representatives associated with various states are also continuously coming here and taking baths.
