LVD urges Govt. to compensate equally
UDHAMPUR: A meeting of the Lok Vikas Dal (LVD) WAS held under the chairmanship of State President of Dal Vikram Singh Slathia in which all the executive members of the Dal expressed their great concern towards indifferent attitude being adopted by the Govt. towards affected people of Jammu. Dal demanded to pay all kind of compensation and support to Jammu region victims also who have suffered huge or partial loss.
Speaking in the meeting Slathia said that though Kashmir region has suffered great lose but Govt. cannot overlook the Jammu region people including Udhampur, Katra, Reasi, Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch where hundreds of people have lost their kith and kin and property also. He said Govt. is focusing upon Valley and is bent upon ignoring the people of Jammu region. He appealed to the higher ups of the Central Government and army to personally institute a justified way out so that any support or relief being extended by the Govt. should get distributed equally. Those who spoke and highlighted the issue were Joginder Kumar Verma, Bansi Lal, Umesh Modi, Pankaj Khajuira, Sham Lal, Ram Kishore, Amit Kumar, Arjun Chand, Kuldeep Singh, Pawan Gupta and many others.
