LVD expresses concern on settlement of Myanmar, Bangladeshi refugees

UDHAMPUR: Lok Vikas Dal (LVD) State President Vikram Singh Slathia expressed great concern over illegal settlement of residents of Myanmar and Bangladesh residents in Jammu and Kashmir. Slathia added that it’s become a serious threat to the security of country and need to be taken seriously by the Govt. to snub immediately. Slathia lambasted upon the State Coalition Govt. led PDP-BJP for muting their eyes towards issue of settlement of residents of Myanmar and Bangladesh particular northern eastern states, especially in J&K. He said the people of these countries have managed to get their names in voter lists and also managed ration card also as appeared in social media all under political patronage.
Slathia asserted that it is a well planned design to support and rehabilitate them illegally to change the demography of the region. He further said that illegally migrated residents of both countries have encroached upon the barren/ State Land and send their head of families and wards to setup eatable stalls at vital installation like railway stations, bus stand, matador stands, and engaged in vendor profession and many more. Slathia said if Govt. will take the issue seriously people of the Jammu region would have no option other than to migrate from region. He said these people are become threat to nation and peace loving people of the state as well as country. He appealed to the Govt. to took matter seriously and work out for analyze the gravity of the issue in the interest of country.
