LPEF seeks speedy redressal of employees’ demands

JAMMU: All J and K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) urged the government for speedy implementation of Seventh CPC’s on central pattern in J and K State.
Hailing the decision of State Government to extend death-cum-retirement gratuity benefit in favour of employees employed under New Pension Scheme (NPS), Abdul Majid Khan, President LPEF, sought extension of all other service benefits to the NPS employees as are available to the employees working under old pension system. Khan also demanded release of D.A installment, enhancement of medical allowance, revise minimum daily wage to atleast Rs 350, regularisation of daily wage workers, Adhoc and contractual employees after rendering seven years service and early redressal of outstanding grievances of teachers, clerks, Class IV employees, ReT teachers and pre and post 2006 pensioners.
