The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has marked the centenary of his second term with a speech reminiscent of a campaign rally, highlighting his accomplishments while directing criticism towards his political adversaries.
He proclaimed what he referred to as a “revolution of common sense” to a gathering of supporters in Michigan, asserting that he was leveraging his presidency to enact “profound change”.
On January 20, 2025, Republican Party leader Donald Trump became the 47th US president. The first 100 days of his presidency concluded April 29, 2025. Was 45th President from 2017 until 2021. Trump is the first American president to upset global politics, economics, geography, and strategy. Trump made crucial decisions in his first 100 days, surpassing Franklin D. Roosevelt. From January 20 to April 24, 2025, he issued 139 EOs, 39 proclamations, and 45 memoranda. They include new laws, immigration reform, illegal immigrant repatriation, terror tariffs, federal spending, and government size reductions. Trump’s dictatorial, tyrannical, and brutal actions revealed how America can unilaterally change the globe. At home and abroad, his actions and threats have startled politicians, diplomats, philosophers, and economists.
Trump wants to monopolize Bretton Woods-based international order. He wants foreign merchants, corporators, farmers, and industrialists to invest and develop businesses in America via tariffs. He wants to reestablish economic, commercial, geopolitical, and diplomatic relations with all nations. Only China has refused. All other countries stand with heads down and mouths covered. Despite mistakes in Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan, his military authority remains strong.
To undermine the WTO, the US has levied tariffs from 10% to 145% (on China) on countries and regions. To close a trillion-dollar trade imbalance, it taxed all US imports heavily. According to famed American economist Jeffrey Sachs, Trump and his super-corporate supporters, including Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Sundar Pichai, Jeff Bezos, Tim Cook, Sam Altman, and Show Ji Chiu, are fooling Americans by aiming to construct a super-corporate-controlled economic and trade Jeffrey says Americans spend more than they earn. The federal government spent $6.75 trillion and earned $4.92 trillion in 2024. The direct deficit was $1.83 trillion. There’s no American debt under $106,115. US taxes on the middle and lower classes and corporate subsidies contribute to the budget deficit. The US Congress, which sets the budget, welcomes corporate money to fight elections, and presidential candidates never advocate taxing these gigantic crocodiles.
People must march at 1400 locations in 50 states to oppose growing expenses, inflation, poverty, unemployment, and health, education, and security losses. After 100 days in government, he arrogantly claims to rule the world and his country. Fact: Tariff fear and disinformation isolated ‘America First’. The conquering of Greenland, the reestablishment of the Panama Canal, the annexation of Canada as the 51st state, and the development of Gaza as a Riviera resort have soiled Trump and American democracy globally German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said Trump’s actions shows he’s alienating America, not prioritizing it. President Claudia Scheinbaum-Pardo of Mexico suggests a wall around 340 million Americans to split the world’s 8 billion people. We’ll demand its demolition like the Berlin Wall.
Also, Trump urges Canadians to vote for me on April 28, 2025, because I can cut your taxes in half, increase military power, take you to the world market for free, buy your cars, steel, aluminium, lumber, energy, and goods, and quadruple your development with zero taxes and tariffs if you become the 51st state. Canada aims to improve economic, cooperation, and security relations with the EU and other partners. The EU prioritizes security and cooperation. It will not buy US goods and weapons. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said Xi Jinping the EU prioritized trade with China. Japan, South Korea, and other Asian countries are tired of America’s backstabbing and want to improve ties.
Chaining illegal immigrants to their home countries or El Salvador and Guantanamo Bay prisons, prosecuting domestic opponents, belittling the judiciary, pardoning those who violently attacked Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021, and cutting university and public interest company grants-what else is arbitrary barbarity Trump hates democracy. Acts like Orbán or Erdogan. He wants to break the 22nd Amendment to become president again.
Trump has failed to resolve the Ukraine crisis, strengthen ties with China, embrace his neighbours, and enhance American life. Former Democratic and Republican administration official Aaron David Miller thinks Trump’s foreign policy moves will matter. Friendly nations’ losses are hard to recover. Opponents have sought new economic partners. Pew says no president has lost so much favour in his first 100 days. CNN reported Trump’s 41% popularity. 100 days less than presidents. Even less than his first 100 days in office. Americans fear the future.
To fix the fiscal, trade, and tax imbalance, Trump chose tariffs. Prof. Jeffrey argues trade always helps and damages both parties. By extending the tariff deadline and engaging with other nations, Trump hopes to revive trade policy and tariff rates. The US economy is weak. Investors leave. The stock market crashed three times. The Wall Street Journal said that former Senate Banking Committee Chairman Phil Grum stated the US administration has caused global trade policy uncertainty. Bloomberg claims America is unstable. Boring US money and bonds. The trade war is becoming ‘capital war’. US dollar index declined 7%. IMF expects US GDP to fall 0.9 percent from January to 1.8 percent in 2025.
