SRINAGAR: Maidanpura Boys to face Chandigam XI in the final of Lolab Premier League, organized by Rashtriya Rifle unit based at Lolab under the aegis of Chinar Corps at Magam Cricket Ground, here.
Earlier in the first semifinals played on Thursday, Maidanpura Boys defeated Tiger Sports Saiwan by 114 runs in one sided match. Maidanpura won the toss and elected to bat putting 168/8 on scoreboard in 20 overs.
In reply, Tiger Sports was bundled out for just 54 runs in 15.3 overs, courtesy sensational display of bowling and fielding by Maidanpura Boys.
In another semifinal, Chandigam XI beat Young Stars, Tutigund in a close contest.
Young Stars won the toss and elected to bat.
With the help from middle order, they posted a formidable target of 135 for 8 in 20 overs. Young Stars maintained the pressure on Chandigam XI by taking regular wickets but in the end, Chandigam XI kept their cool and achieved the target in 19.1 overs.
