Doda: In compliance to J and K State Legal Service Authority a pre-national Lok Adalat was organised at TLSC headquarter court complex Doda for the cases pertaining to the electricity under the chairman ship O.P.Thakur Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee (CJM Doda). In the said Lok Adalat 61 cases pertaining to electricity Sub-Division Doda were taken up, out of which a total no of 40 cases were decided and an amount of Rs. 42,000 was recovered on spot.
Besides this an award of Rs. 9,01,301 was also passed.
In this pre-national Lok Adalat and large number of litigants, advocates , social workers and journalists participated.
People and litigants were informed that in case they are interested in settlement of their cases, they can approach the Court at District Headquarters Doda for listing their cases in the national Lok Adalat on 9th July.
