Amritsar:- Upset over failing to withdraw cash after waiting for hours at an ATM, a group of people today blocked a road in Khassa village near the Indo-Pak border and briefly stopped the Amritsar-Lahore bus.
The bus, without any passenger on board, was going from Amritsar to Lahore.
Police rushed to the scene and persuaded the protesters to clear the road. The route remained blocked for 10 minutes.
People were angry as the ATM in front of which they queued up had gone dry, police said.
