Locals hail efforts of PDP leader for street lights

JAMMU : The locals of Greater Kailash, Jammu hailed the efforts of PDP leader Kulwant Singh for acceding to their long pending demand of providing street lights.
Surinder Kapahi, Nishchint Kumar, Romesh Gupta, Anchal Dass and others said that there used to be pitch dark in the lanes and it became difficult to walk through because of snakes and other insects particularly during the ensuing rainy season. They further said that the street light has a greater benefit of keeping the thieves at a bay. In his address the Mohalla President Kulwant Singh expressed his gratitude to the PDP General Secretary Ved Bhasin who had always been looking after the problems of the people of Greater Kailash.
He said that it had been due to his efforts that a bridge over the Nallah is being constructed in the locality at a cost of Rs 18 lakh.
