POONCH: Lions Club Chandak registered win over its rival to advance in the Police Martyrs Football Tournament, being organized by District Police Poonch at Boys higher Secondary School Ground, here on Friday.
In the opening match, Lions Club Chandak scripted a big win over Purani Poonch Club by five goals to nil (5-0).
For Lions Club, Sohail and Inzamam scored two goals each and Ishtaiq scored one. In today’s match, Principal of the host School, Ramsaroop Sharma was the Chief Guest. Others present were Mohd Tariq Khan, Chairman of Shaheed Manjit Singh Memorial Volleyball Club Poonch, Dy SP Sager Singh Salathia DySP Dr Saleem and DEPO Makhan Lal. The match was officiated by Mohinder Bali.
