JAMMU: The honour of people of Jammu has been compromised and downgraded by the leaders who claimed to be the champion for the cause their case in the region. BJP climbed political ladder rising voice against discrimination with the people of this region. They ended up doing worst ever betrayal with people of J&K.
This was stated by former Minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla while addressing public gatherings in favour of Congress candidate from Phallian Mandal, Gurmeet Kour at Channi Nanak, Kirpalpur, Dharap, Bhandu Rakh, Old Satwari Nandani.
Prominent among those present on the occasion include Block President Amrit Bali, Block President Satish Sharma, Block President Sodhagar Singh Saini, Sarpanch Kashmir Singh, Madam Pinky Sudan, Panch Subash Chander, Panch Baryam Dass, Panch Raj Kumar, Panch Darshan Lal , Panch Ravinder Singh Raju, Vishal Charak, Sunil Slathia, Capt Om Parkash Bhagat, Pawan Bhagat, Panch Som Dutt, Kuldeep Singh, Baldev Singh Wazir beside others.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhalla castigated the propaganda launched by the BJP leadership on making J&K a massive development hub which is totally hollow.
He alleged that the shark reality is that only public miseries, chaos were created during last six years in J&K. The people of J&K were lured and shown green pastures by the BJP leaders.
All the tall claims have proved full of lies. The BJP stood exposed again and the public is watching this all. The party is trying to divert the attention of the public from the basic issues, Bhalla added.
The local leadership was claiming that they will bring prosperity, development, welfare in J&K but nothing of the sort has been witnessed. Unfortunately, they are now becoming comedian entertainer for J&K Public. People of Jammu province have now realised their real face by such like announcements and statements which are only provoking for votes bank politics. They have nothing to do with general public grievances. Many times, their own Government stepped back on the issues which were announced by them officially. All the development works sanctioned be previous Govt were put on halt by them with no reason especially PMGSY and PWD works.
Former Minister slammed the BJP-led Central government for making “big claims” on development works in Jammu and Kashmir charging that people were not even getting basic amenities.
The Centre should produce a record of the development it has carried out in Jammu and Kashmir for the last six years, he demanded.
