JAMMU: “Limitations live only in our minds. But, if we use our imagination, our possibilities become limitless”, stated Tenzing from Grade 7 Maple during the morning Assembly at JK Public School Kunjwani Jammu.
Reflecting further on the topic Vidhula said, “We often doubt ourselves due to fear of failure or worry about what others might think, but guess what? Those thoughts are just thoughts, they don’t define who we are or what we are capable of”.
“Limitation in our self-belief system limits our limitless possibilities. Our thought processing and confidence level propel us forward to make forays into untrodden paths. When we limit ourselves, then we limit our possibilities. Hence we must have immense faith in our capabilities”, she added further.
“Brood over it, as history is replete with examples, when people achieved incredible feats by pushing themselves beyond their perceived limitations. They have climbed mountains, invented groundbreaking technology and created beautiful art works”, opined another debater from the class Sejal.
“They had doubts and fear too but they didn’t let those thoughts stop them. Let us remember that limitations are not fixed, they are a subject to change. By adopting a mindset of resilience, perseverance and incessant self improvement, we can shatter the shackles of self imposed limitations”, she added further.
To reinforce the theme Kaashvi presented an inspiring poem:
“In the vast expanse of our mind’s domain
Limitations like shadows same to reign
But fear not, young hearts, for there’s key
To unlock the bound that holds us free”.
“In classrooms, in fields,
where dreams take flight
Remember, dear friends,
limitations aren’t right.
They’re but illusions, veils so thin,
That vanish when courage from within”.
“So dream, young souls and dare to soar
For limitations live only in decor
Embrace the truth that within us lies
The power to reach beyond the sky”.
While summing up the topic, Rajesh Rathore, Principal, JKPS Kunjwani said, “I urge each and every one to challenge the limitations that reside within our mind, embrace the belief that we are capable of achieving greatness and let go of the self imposed barriers that hold us back from achieving our goals. Limitations only live in our mind and it is up to us to break free and reach for the extraordinary”.
