JAMMU: Seeking decisive mandate to change history of Jammu and Kashmir, BJP candidate for Raipur-Domana Assembly segment and General Secretary of the party, Bali Bhagat on Wednesday urged people to support BJP to set a new system of justice and equality in this State. He said that BJP is committed to establish a system where every region and sub-region will get equal opportunity of growth and development.
Addressing an impressive public meeting at Kanger in which large number of people including five Panchs joined BJP, Bhagat said that during the last six years the State has been plunged into unprecedented crisis due to mis-governance and misdeeds of the present regime headed by Omar Abdullah. He said that National Conference-Congress regime has crossed all limits of corruption and nepotism and it was high time to treat both the parties a lesson.
“Credit goes to Omar Abdullah to make J and K as one of the worst corrupt state in the country with the connivance of Congress, which is notorious of legalizing corruption”, he said and observed that legitimizing corruption is only noticeable achievement of NC-Congress regime.
“Let us strengthen hands of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to usher a new era of prosperity and development in Jammu and Kashmir”, Bhagat urged the youth who joined BJP. He regretted that since 1947 successive governments in Jammu and Kashmir have done nothing to minimize miseries of the people.
“Instead of addressing day today problems of the people, successive governments in J and K have shamelessly exploited sentiments of the people by raking up emotive issues by sidelining basic issues”, he regretted and added that on-going assembly elections have thrown an opportunity before the people to change their destiny.
