JAMMU: Institution of Engineers (India), Jammu Local Centre organised a lecture on Smart City Mission Jammu and Urban Land Management Scenario here on Saturday.
The lecture was presented by Sayan Sarkar, Urban Planner from Voyants Solutions and Vinod Malhotra, FIE; former Development Commissioner, Town Planning, J&K State.
Commissioner JMC, Dr. Manmohan Singh graced this occasion as Chief Guest.
Vinod Malhotra spoke of the need to ensure that master plan prepared by JDA gets implemented on ground effectively.
Sayan Sarkar delivered his lecture on Smarty City concept and how Ministry of Urban Development conceptualised the smart city project.
Ajay Gupta, FIE; Chairman IEI Jammu Centre concluded the seminar and highlighted the importance of topics.
B.L Rawal, MIE Honorary Secretary conducted the proceedings of the seminar and presented vote of thanks.
