SRINAGAR: The Legislative Council on Saturday passed two Bills which were moved for consideration and passing in the House.
The Bill “A Bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Special Provisions) Act, 2010 (L.A. Bill No. 13 of 2014)” was moved by the Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs Abdul Rahim Rather for consideration and passing. The Bill was passed unanimously after a brief discussion.
Another Bill “A Bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir State Legislature Members Pension Act, 1984 (L.A. Bill No. 14 of 2014)” was moved by the Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs Mr. Abdul Rahim Rather on behalf of Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Mir Saifullah for consideration and passing.
The Bill was passed unanimously by a voice vote.
