Law Enforcement Wing inspects Agri Inputs’ Dealers across Jammu Div

JAMMU: Law Enforcement Wing of Directorate of Agriculture Jammu on Tuesday inspected fertilizers, seeds and pesticides at outlets across the Jammu Div to check the quality of the Agriculture inputs being sold by private dealers.
The aforesaid Inspection campaign was held under the overall supervision of Director Agriculture Jammu Ram Savak and Director Law Enforcement Iqwal Singh.
Samples of fertilizers, pesticides and seeds are also being lifted on spot and sent for quality analysis in departmental testing laboratories in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir and regional pesticides testing laboratories outside the UT.
“All dealers of Jammu Division are warned and directed to sell quality inputs to the farming community on genuine rates failing which legal action will be initiated against the defaulters”, an official handout read.
Checking campaign was conducted in the all districts of Jammu Div. by Law enforcement inspectors of the respective districts.
Assistant Director Law Enforcement Jammu, Tilak Raj Sharma along with law Enforcement Inspector Jammu, Kashmir Singh, law enforcement inspector Railhead Jammu, Vinod Kumar conducted the checking campaign in Jammu district.
