UDHAMPUR: A large number of residents of village Latyar-Katti held protest against the Electricity Department outside Office of the Deputy Commissioner here on Tuesday in order to show their resentment against the department for its failure to restore power supply in their locality for more than last couple months.
Protestors raised slogans against the PDD and urged local administration and concerned department to ensure regular power supply. They also urged higher ups of the Electricity Department to restore power supply in the affected areas earliest so that people of the locality can heave a sigh of relief.
