Ramban: Massive landslide hits Jammu-Srinagar NHW-44 at Bhoom area of Chanderkot in District Ramban near CRPF camp. A Srinagar bound dumper (tipper) and two TATA Mobiles got burried under the debris but their occupants escaped. Police and CRPF men on the spot. NH44 closed for traffic. Hundreds of schedueld down convoy vehicles stranded between Ramban and Chanderkot. DySP Traffic Ramban Parul Bhardwaj said that debris clearance operation is going on to restore the highway at the earliest. “there is no loss of life in the incident,” he added.
