Lal Singh should amend language, apologise: Sikhs

NOWSHERA: The Sikhs hailing from District Rajouri have strongly objected to cracking of jokes upon Sikh Community by the Forest Minister Choudhary Lal Singh during his plantation drive in Government Degree College Nowshera on Thursday.
Taking serious notice of his abusive and taunting language towards the Sikh Community which has a history of sacrifices for the nation, the number of Sikh organisations of the District including District Sikh Youth Organisation, Sikh Naojwan Sabha, Sikh Youth Federation, Sikh Students Organisation, Baba Deep Singh Ji Sewa Dal and the President District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Bhupinder Singh Tiger said that the Minister has humiliated the whole Sikh community by cutting jokes in public which counts on his unbecoming attitude which has seriously hurt the sentiments of Sikhs.
Bhopinder Singh Tiger demanded apology from Choudhary Lal Singh because the badly hurt Sikhs of the area have threatened agitation against his irresponsible and provocative behaviour for which he is infamous. He also appealed to the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to control the minister against disturbing the peaceful environment of Nowshera town.
