KUPWARA: Police in Lolab valley of Kupwara has arrested four persons after a 19-year-old girl complained that they had kidnapped her to a forest and committed gang rape.
Police station Sogam filed FIR (31/17) under sections 366 and 376-D of RPC on the victim’s complaint and got all the four accused arrested from different places. They are under sustained interrogation.
Sources said that the victim was referred to District Hospital Kupwara for medical examination.
Those arrested by Police have been identified as Tariq Ahmad and Bilal Ahmad of Shalgund Khurhama Lolab, Saqib Ahmad of Shatmuqam Lolab and Khursheed Ahmad of Dardpora Lolab.
