JAMMU: An awareness drive on plastic waste segregation under Swachhta Pakhwada 2020, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan was organised by NCC Cadets of 2 J&K Girls BN NCC, GCW Gandhi Nagar, Jammu in collaboration with Kujan NGO.
Wherein seven cadets from NCC participated under the leadership of JUO Shriya Gupta, the guidance of Capt. Shivani Sharma and C/T Suman Bala and under the patronage of Dr Sangita Nagari, Principal GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
Also Raminder Paul Singh, Arnav Gupta and Mehak Rao Sathe participated in the drive under the leadership of Guneet Singh, Founder, Kujan NGO.
The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Raghu Veer Singh (SHO Gangyal) and the Guest of Honour Ashish Kohli (Journalist, JK Media).
The rural people were educated about the importance of plastic waste segregation and some plastic waste was collected from them which would undergo recycling.
