Kranti Dal extends support to BJP

JAMMU: Kranti Dal, Jammu and Kashmir, extended its support to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates in assembly elections.
Chairman, Kranti Dal Anan Sharma told reporters on Tuesday that all Kranti Dal leaders and workers will support Narendra Modi-led Government.
Anan asked the people of Jammu region to vote for change by supporting BJP candidates.
Expressing grave concern over the miserable plight of the refugees from West Pakistan, Anan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his election rallies in Jammu and Kashmir extended party’s support to the genuine demand of these refugees, who have been leading miserable life under unhygienic conditions in different parts of Jammu province since 1947, 1965 and 1971.
Anan said that it is indeed unfortunate that these hapless and abandoned people have lost their three generations while agitating for a dignified settlement.
Holding the Article-370 as one of the hurdles in meeting the legitimate demand of refugees, Anan said that the special provision has already caused immense loss to the people and the State and the time has come to abrogate this Article should be abrogated once and forever to reach a conclusion.
Appreciating the role of Narendra Modi at national as well as international level during his six months tenure, State President Pritam Sharma said Modi always motivated for strengthening the culture and heritage of India which also motivate them to support him for prosperous Jammu and Kashmir State.
Others who attended the press conference were Vijay Kumar, Rajinder Bhagat, Akhil Gandotra, Sankul Gupta, Amit Menia, Tarum Gupta, Nitin Walia, Pt Ravi Kumar Sharma (Incharge Rajouri-Poonch) and Chander Kumar.
