JAMMU: Seeking help from separatists to restore peace in the Valley has not gone well with the nationalist forces, demoralized and disheartened them, Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) stated that it is unfortunate that State Government has given importance to separatists and has made them relevant. In a statement issued here on Monday, KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri said “The government should have allowed the security forces to handle the situation on its own. It’s the separatists who are adding fuel to the fire and are making every possible effort to ensure that cycle of violence continues.” KPC Chief further said that soon after the Burhan Wani was killed, Geealni and others separatists called for shutdown and instigated people to hit the streets. “The henchmen of separatists left no stone un-turned to offer funeral prayers in absentia for Burhan and his associates and provoked the people to attack Police stations and forces camps which led to the killings,” he said. Kundan Kashmiri stated that it is shameful and unfortunate that government is seeking help from the same people who are responsible for vitiating peace and pushing Kashmir towards the edge. He said “It’s high time for Government of India to send a strong message to anti-national forces that their activities are unacceptable.”
