REASI: A meeting of J and K Kissan Tehreek, District Reasi was held under the chairmanship of Sohan Lal Sharma , District President to take stock of the prevailing situation in the district caused due to torrential rains and wind storm.
The members expressed their grave concern over the heavy loss of life , property , land , houses and crops which were destroyed .
Kissan Sabha demanded for early help in shape of relief and compensations and also urged upon the State Govt. and district administration for restoration of road and passage connectivity in rural areas at the earliest .
Prem Nath , Nanad Kishore , Hukam Chand , Rajinder Sharma , Hussain Din , Mohd. Gafoor , Mangat Ram , Prabh Dayal , Banarsi Dass, Shanker Singh were among the prominent persons who attended the meeting.
