Kishtwar Jail inmates enlightened about plea bargaining, rights of prisoners & bail provisions by DLSA

KISHTWAR: District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) Kishtwar on Monday organised Awareness Program on Plea Bargaining, Rights of Prisoners and Bail Provisions here at District Jail Kishtwar under the Supervision of Secretary, DLSA Imran Ahmad Wani.
During the programme, the panel Lawyers, Advocate Touqeer Mushtaq and Advocate Ifrah Abbas Waza apprised the jail inmates regarding their rights, besides under the directions and supervision of Principal Magistrate,JJB Sh. Y. P Sharma, the members Juvenile Justice Board Wazir Waza and Girja Sharma along with Legal Cum Probationary Officer, (Mission Vatsalya) Basharat Nazir also attended the programme and enlightened the Jail inmates about JJ Act. Para Legal Volunteer Rafia Javed was also present on the occasion. In the end, the Jail inmates thanked Secretary DLSA for organising such events and requested to organise such awareness programmes in future also.
