BILLAWAR: The Kisan Sabha is celebrating its 34th Foundation Day on 11th January 2015. On this occasion, a largely attended Kisan Samelan is being organised at Thara Kalwal in the Billawar area.
Hari Chand Jalmeria Advocate State President of Kisan Sabha, who is participating as Chief Guest, said that issues of farmers of various areas of the State shall come under discussion in the Kisan Samelan adding that State was affected by floods in September 2014, there has been repeated dislocation of border people due to firing from Pakistan and farmers have always been suffering for uncertain weather conditions. “Farmers have not been compensated. Development of villages have not taken place with same speed as that of towns. Demand of district for Billawar has been ignored” he maintained.
Kisan leaders from other areas are also participating.
